I first started volunteering with the UBC Yoga Club in 2016, and I am so grateful to have been teaching with the club since completing my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2018! Practicing yoga is indescribably grounding for me, and as a teacher I love being able to hold space for others as they explore the connection between mind, breath, and body.

Developing a yoga practice has taught me so much about trusting myself and accepting the present moment. I attended my first yoga class in 9th grade, and while I was initially drawn to the physical benefits of the practice I quickly realized that yoga could be a powerful tool in stabilizing my overall well being. Yoga pulls me into the present moment and reminds me that nothing is permanent.

I grew up living in the Canadian prairies but am currently living and working in Vancouver. In my free time I love reading, running, and spending time in nature.
